- Identity & Contact: Name, age, email, location.
- Sensitive Data (Special Category): Religious beliefs, ethnicity, and lifestyle habits. We collect this only with your explicit consent to facilitate matching.
- Biometric Data: We do NOT currently collect biometric facial geometry or use facial recognition technology. If we introduce such features in the future, we will obtain your explicit consent beforehand.
- Usage Data: Interactions that train our personalization algorithms.
2. How We Use AI & Automated Decision Making
We use algorithms to propose likely matches.
- Profiling: We analyze your preferences to build a profile of your ideal partner.
- Human-in-the-Loop: Significant decisions (like Match Proposals) are often reviewed or initiated by Matchmakers, ensuring AI provides assistance rather than final automated judgment.
- Opt-Out: You have the right to object to profiling that produces legal effects concerning you. Contact us to request manual review.
3. Data Sharing
We share your profile with Matchmakers and potential matches. We do NOT sell data to data brokers. We do NOT share your data with third-party public AI models (like ChatGPT) for their training purposes.
4. Security
We implement robust security controls. However, no system is impenetrable. In the event of a breach involving sensitive data, we will notify affected users as required by law.
5. California & State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain states (e.g., California, Virginia) may have additional rights, including the right to opt-out of the sale/sharing of personal data and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal data.
